Farewell or Fun - I am confused

So lastly back to Raleigh gives me some respite..I know its not my home but I am happy as I used to be during my vacation from school. Thats me may be. I always get attached with things and so was my attachment to the company I did internship, Knoxville and the most importantly - the other interns who were there with me..They were all fun and I had fun whole summer.

Oops I should talk about the farewell rather than all these fun stuff. At the outset, let me tell u I never expected that kind of farewell on my last day But it was a big deal streching from 3 pm to 12 in the night at 4 diff places. It started formally with some good snacks and then we good this whole range of gift from flowers to sweater, t shirt, cap, blanket, eatables along with a note from our supervisor. These were the exact words for mine - "It has been a great pleasure to know u and work with u this ummer. I am very impressed with ur performance and with you the very best as u pursue ur career. Good luck". U know what I cud have written this post without writing those exact words but it just my nature..I just love someone praising me.

The at 5, VP invited eveyone to TGI fridays for a drink and we were there till7..then we went to Italian market restaurent for dinner. Dinner went till 10 and then one of the employees took us for his house for further drink and chat. Though I dont drink but I just love listening to peopl's talk when they r real drunk :)

So finally we disperse at 12 in the night and I was confused - it was a farewell or a fun day...whatever it was I will be missing few of the things for sure.

Now back to real world...Cleaning my apartment which really sucks after having that smooth and great summer.
