80/20 Rule

I was having lunch with the other interns on monday and we started discussing this 80/20 rule...To my utter surprise they never heard of this rule. So I try to explain them - this rule was given by someone may be a hundred years ago as 80% of the world's wealth is in the hands of 20% of the population...The beauty of this law is that u can apply it to so many places.

So, I tell them to give me any instance and I wll fit this law there. Neil started, "How about this restaurent, apply that law here"...I say easy enough. see we all are here at Cahouns and eatng there lunch special burger for 4$...so their 20% of the profit for monday comes from 80% of guys like us...They are satisfied with my logic..

Next one gives me, "Soccer" and I tell them, 80% contribution to any team's win is given by only 20% of the players like Ronaldo, Rivalo, David Beckham, and Olivr Kanh..they feel satisfied and pissed too...then lastly they say ok how about work and I tell them yup 80% of the day's job one does in 20% of the time and rest 80% goes in doing the rest 20% crappy work and they all finally agree and change the topic..

Anyone who doesnt buy this rule...if yes I think u cant figure out what r ur 80% of jobs which are important for the day
