Hollywood "Lagaan"

Today was another good day for me. The day started with email regarding my second paper which I submitted with Balram to Journal of OR Society (JORS). The reviews were good and positive and so am confident of getting this paper published. It always feels good to have these kind of emails in the inbox to start the day.

Office was as usual, sort of busy as have got meeting with my supervisor tomorrow. So, I was getting things ready for the meeting. It is always tough to justify to someone that u took a week to do something which u know u did in a day or two. Came back in the evening and slept for a while. Then went on with the other room mates to watch Hollywood "Lagaan" (The longest yard). It was not one of those great movies, but I liked the movie. May be I am biased for Adam sandler, but I like the way he speaks with humour and acts with natural style. If "Lagaan" was all about amir making his team of cricket to beat the Britishers, then "The longest yard" was all about Sandler making his team of footbal in the prison with prisoners to play against the cops. The movie is worth watching even with a rating of 6.2 out of 10 on www.imdb.com. You guys can take my word for that.

Now need to do complete the book "The tipping point" as the thin layer of dust on the cover of the book is kind of making me guilty of neglecting it. Look out for more updates on the book.
