Busy me
This week is over..such a busy week it was...I cant also remember what all I did the whole week. But I know for sure I did a great work this week (If my supervisor says so then I have no reasons not to believe :)
My busy schedule will also continue next week and I am hoping that next week will be the last busy week of my internship. The director technical was so happy with the way I was conducting my trials today that he cudn't resist having lunch with me along with all the guys working in the PDA (Prdocut Development Area, if it helps). He walked down for an inspection and he observed some 4 grps of different people working at that time. He was surprised to find out that all were working for the same project and it was my Project. Lastly he came to me and I explained to him how I conducted my trials with so many different activities going on at the same time. He was convinced whatever I was getting done by those people in 1 hr shud have taken 3 hrs atleast. So he gave compliment to all of us and invited for lunch. We went to a Mexican place and I liked having there "Chicken Chica....something I forgot :)".
Post lunch meeting with my supervisor was also good, which surprised me untill I found that the director had a word about my trials with him too :). I think my learnings from the book "The goal", at least how one should minimize the bottle neck of any process, helped me today. The supervisor said, "I know u r doing everything good on ur own and when I get ur call I know there is really something serious issue". Prabhat u dont deserve this all :).
Last weekend read the book "Dont stand too close to a naked man" sounds funny right!!!I started reading the book just bcoz of the title and I found the book to be interesting as It deals with so many psychological things related to women and men. One which is coming to my mind right now goes like this - "After getting married, for the first year keep a quarter in a container everytime u make luv with ur wife. From the second year onwards start taking out a quarter everytime u make luv. The container will never fall sort of the quarters".
Enought of this post..now need to go and sleep for a while.
